Are You Repurposing Your Webinar Content?

Webinars take a lot of time to produce. They’re great for generating leads and deepening engagement with your prospects. But once you’ve made the slide decks, done a couple dry runs, and transferred all your new leads to the sales team, your work isn’t quite done.

Make the most of the time you’re investing into each webinar by repurposing the content.

Trim the Webinar into Snippets

Which sections of your webinar stand alone as complete concepts? Trim the recording down to those sections and, voila, new video content. This is a quick, inexpensive way to fill your video pipeline. Use them as teasers for the full on-demand webinar, to supplement content on your website, or for your YouTube channel.

Turn Audience Questions into Content

Did the audience ask great questions that you wouldn’t have thought of on your own? Use them for your next blog, or maybe even a whole new webinar. Think along the lines of “Answers to Common Questions about X” or even “Surprising Questions – and Answers about Y.”

Make it into a Blog

This is pretty straightforward. You’ve got all that good content on your slide deck, but Google can’t read it. Even if you optimize the landing page where you host the webinar on-demand, your audience may not have the patience to sit through the full presentation. Give them a blog post with strong headers and easily scannable content so they can get the information they need at their pace.

Make Custom Graphics

Are there certain topics that come up regularly in your webinars? Maybe a process, decision tree, or category chart? Get your graphic designer involved in making customized designs for those slides. Use them for social posts, blogs, and long-form content. Your custom graphics will enhance your brand image and save you time when you’re making content in the future.

Happy repurposing!
